PDF Toolbox ("the Tool") takes user privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Tool.
1. File Processing
File Upload: When you upload PDF files for processing, files are transmitted to the server via HTTPS encrypted connection.
File Storage: After processing, temporary files are deleted immediately. We do not store your uploaded files long-term or keep file copies.
File Usage: Your uploaded files are used solely for the processing operation you requested (e.g., merge, split, compress, convert to images, extract text, add watermark, convert to PPT, convert to Word, etc.) and not for any other purpose.
2. Information Collection
Log Information: The server automatically records access logs, including IP address, access time, browser type, etc. This information is used only for operations and security analysis and is not linked to personal identity.
No Mandatory Registration: The Tool does not require user registration or login, therefore does not collect account information such as usernames or passwords.
Cookies: The Tool itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party advertising services (such as Google AdSense) may collect information through cookies to display relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
3. Third-Party Services
The Tool uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
- Google AdSense — Advertising service, may use cookies to show personalized ads. See Google Advertising Policies for details. Manage preferences via Google Ads Settings.
- Edge One (Tencent Cloud) — CDN service, records access logs
We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand how they handle data.
4. Data Security
We protect your data security through the following measures:
- Site-wide HTTPS encrypted transmission
- Temporary files deleted immediately after processing
- Regular server security updates
- Regular access log cleanup
5. Children's Privacy
The Tool is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us to delete it.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
